210513 “Application of Grace” – Dr Darius Jankiewicz

210513 Evening Meeting – Dr Darius Jankiewicz

“Application of Grace”

We are afraid to be judged and become a failure.

The greatest need of Christian young people is that they hear authentic people being genuine

Paul says
1 Tim 1:15
1 Cor 15:9
Phil 3:12

2 Cor 12:7-10

My power is made perfect in weakness.

Vulnerability – is the way which we receive God’s Grace.

Darius tells a modern version of the story of Simon and Mary.

Luke 7:36-50
Then she wiped His feet with her hair
Then she kissed them and poured perfume on them
If this man were a prophet he would know who was touching him and what kind of women she is – that she is a sinner.
Simon may I talk to you for a moment
Of course
Jesus spoke to Simon. Do you see that woman?
I came into your house – you did nothing for me
But the woman did everything a guest should receive in hospitality
Her many sins have been forgiven-as he has shown.

Mary, your sins are forgiven
Who is this guy? To forgive sins?
Go and sin no more

The more grace you have, the more you can share with others

I will be glad about my weakness… because in them Christ’s power is revealed – vulnerability

The more weaknesses you have, the more grace you will receive.

Sin is not easy to exchange for grace but it can happen.

It is not enough to know about God’s grace. It is everything to accept it.

“Think of one thing you can do to make your church a safe place for others to share their struggles.”
